Sunbrella Competition Winners!

In Textile Design, we are proud to have a long-standing relationship with Glen Raven, the weaving mill that produces Sunbrella brand fabrics. Every two years, Sunbrella hosts a competition within the Textile Design department. The students are tasked with creating interesting and innovative textiles using their state-of-the-art, proprietary yarn. As far as structure, color, or form, anything goes as long as the yarn used is Sunbrella. This means that the students can really have fun and push their creative boundaries.

This year, because of the pandemic, the judging happened remotely. Happily, the spirit remained the same and the students wowed us again with their creativity and skill.
