Congratulations to our 2019 World Sneaker Champion

We are happy to announce that Industrial Design Senior, Elena Krupicka, has won her category for the World Sneaker Championship!

After a lengthy 8-round, international tournament that took place over the past 1.5 months and included professional and student designers, Elena was announced as the 2019 PENSOLE World Sneaker Competition Champion for her category of “Color + Material Design.”

Elena was invited this weekend to participate in the final round, in a head to head challenge to compete against the one other category finalist at PUMA’s Boston HQ, where she presented in front of PUMA + Foot Locker representatives.

As a result, Elena will have her design manufactured by PUMA and retailed at select Foot Locker locations.
