FASHION DESIGN ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: McKenzi Migliorini ’21

Class of 2021 alumnae McKenzi Migliorini is a ready-to-wear designer for a corporate brand, but that does not mean she’s given up on her dream of putting her own brand, McKenzi Made, out there. For the first time ever, McKenzi’s senior collection “Field of Dreams” made its runway debut at Omaha Fashion Week on March 1st, 2025.

“Field of Dreams” is an inclusive, adaptive mens and womens ready-to-wear collection. This collection was inspired by creating functional yet fashionable clothing for people with disabilities as well as the nostalgia of America’s favorite pastime. Looks in this collection feature thoughtful designs and garment closures that make them more accessible for individuals with physical handicaps and other disabilities. Unlike other adaptive-wear brands in the market, McKenzi Made focuses on creating pieces that are fashionable and functional, allowing consumers of all abilities to enjoy and appreciate their stylish pieces. Pieces in the Field of Dreams collection are inspired by sports uniforms and vintage Americana. The results are clean, elevated separates featuring sportswear detailing such as jersey numbers, functional hardware, and classic stripes.

In addition to making her runway debut, McKenzi’s brand was also awarded the Omaha Fashion Week FEATURED Designer Golden Shears Award. We are so proud of McKenzi and all of her accomplishments, and we cannot wait to see what McKenzi Made does next!
