Join Jefferson University’s Kanbar College of Design, Engineering, and Commerce for a panel discussion featuring alumni discussing situations where they’ve worked collaboratively to apply techniques from the college’s unique DEC Core curriculum to tackle unpredictable challenges in the design of ethical and sustainable solutions to real-world problems. The DEC Core is a transdisciplinary curriculum at Jefferson designed to help undergraduates studying business, design, and engineering develop the practical skills necessary to be future innovators.

Fashion Merchandising Alum, Creative Brand Marketing Coordinator, Free People
Caelyn Owens is the Creative Brand Marketing Coordinator at Free People. In May of 2021, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising Management with a specialization in Global Brand Strategy from Thomas Jefferson University. During my time involved in the Fashion Merchandising Management Program, she had the opportunity to gain knowledge of the fashion industry, travel the world, and grow her love for business and creativity. In addition to her career, she volunteers on the Associate Advisory Board for Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey while also indulging in painting.
Anthony Land
Industrial Design Alum, Design Director at Stylex Seating
Anthony Land was born in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. His interest in the arts and sciences led him to study design, attending schools in the U.S. and Italy. While in his final year of study, Anthony interned at Stylex. After earning an Industrial Design degree from Philadelphia University, he began working full-time at Stylex as a product designer and developer.
Rebecca Nathanson
Graphic Design Communication & MS in User Experience & User Interaction design Alum, Experience Designer at Think Company
Rubie is an Experience Designer at Think Company and a born visualizer with a background in graphic design. Her specialization in visual design systems, brand, and communication design, championing research to inform product design and user experience. Her attention to patterns and cohesion has led her to apply her skills for companies ranging from startups to large organizations.
Jacob Dombroski
Graphic Design Communication Alum, Art Director at Agency M
When Jake is not in his studio, painting or making collage, he is an Art Director at Agency M, a full-service advertising firm specializing in developing honest, authentic, and emotional experiences for brands and their consumers. Agency M approaches their work through a culture of collaboration for strategic insight development, innovative, and creative execution.
