Alumnus Receives “Rising Safety Star” Award

Kayla Stevens, a 2013 BS Textile Engineering Technology graduate, received the Rising Safety Star award from the International Safety Equipment Association in December 2024.  To be eligible for the award Kayla had to demonstrate a passion for worker safety and innovation to drive industry advancement.  Kayla is a senior manager of PPE & Industrial Technical Development at Carhartt.
