Health Communication Design Merit Scholarship

The Master of Science in Health Communication Design launched in Fall ’20 and is at the forefront of an emerging field focused on leveraging human-centered, design-led innovation and visual communication to improve human health. In recognition of the groundbreaking work already accomplished by this program, the Kanbar College Advancement Council is, for the first time, offering a $5,000 merit scholarship available to new applicants beginning the program in Spring 2023 or Fall 2023. We are seeking the best and brightest individuals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what design can do to positively impact a healthier future for humanity. All applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship.

The highly unique, low-residency MS Health Communication Design program has already partnered with numerous organizations and non-profits to provide valuable learning experiences within industry context. In some cases, those partners have gone on to hire our students. The program is highly flexible, customizable and created with the working professional in mind. Its low-residency format allows students to live anywhere. Full-time and part-time options are available as are smaller, 12-credit certificate options. Certificate options include 1) Design and Communication for Disease Prevention, Management and Cure and 2) Design and Communication for Life Stages and Identity.
