Mira Franzel’s senior collection II, entitled “Back in the U.S.S.R.” is inspired by Imperialist Russia and the Communist Revolution. Luxurious fabrics such as jacquard and corduroy in deep jewel tones sit alongside repurposed men’s shirting to highlight the juxtaposition of upper and lower class levels.
