Faith McGary 2020 Fashion Design Capstone

Faith McGary’s senior collection II, entitled “I Rise”, is a tribute to women in American history who have overcome obstacles in life. Taking its name from the poem “And I Rise” by Maya Angelou, this collection juxtaposes soft chiffons with heavy cottons and fringe trims to illustrate the wearer’s breaking free from restriction.
