According to the CDC, thirty-four million people are living with diabetes in the United States and it is the 7th leading cause of death in the world. Being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes is an impactful moment for the person being diagnosed and their loved ones. Many people may face challenges with getting the proper education about type 2 diabetes and the changes they need to enact. The question becomes, how might we help people start and maintain those changes?
Two+You is a program that addresses type 2 diabetes by creating a smooth transition with community and family based approaches. The company offers centers with a gym containing personal trainers, on-site counselors, cooking classes and support groups. With an emphasis on mental health and family support we aim to guide patients and their families to a healthier and happier lifestyle.
