Carolyn BrehonyThroughout the summer, Jefferson will highlight student internships—a crucial part of the University experience. Next up in our series is fashion design student Elissa Lopez. She’s working at Sesame Place, assisting the costume team with all the looks worn in the theme park in Langhorne, Pa.
“I’m doing repairs, cleaning and maintaining the costumes alongside the other interns,” Lopez says. “I also assist where needed, whether out with the characters or through other projects. Plus, I’ll do a capstone to design and create a hypothetical costume for the dancers in the park.”
