Mark HavensThe Mid-Project Critique is one of the most productive segments of the Industrial Design Sprint project. Exactly halfway through the week, the client team comes back to the ID department to meet with each student team regarding what they have developed thus far.
Excitement within the teams was high as they presented their product solutions for nomadic workers to this year’s client UNION (the product design and strategy division of design consultancy Shea & Latone). Each team was given dedicated time to speak with each of the four designers from UNION. They thoroughly augmented their presentations with sketches and models of their development and as a result came away with a large amount of meaningful feedback and insight. Using this, the teams will further refine their designs throughout the rest of the week.
