Rock the Red Dress Fashion Show
April 2 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign is a national movement aimed at ending heart disease and strokes in women. The platform was designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally. Each year, the American Heart Association partners with Thomas Jefferson Fashion Design students to put on the Rock the Red Dress Fashion Show, featuring signature red dresses designed and constructed by the students. Industry judges select the winning dresses, and the audience also votes for their favorite red dress. The winning looks are featured in the windows of Macy’s Philadelphia flagship store at City Hall during the summer.
This year’s show will feature 22 dresses designed and constructed by Thomas Jefferson University Fashion Design students. This is a closed event and is only open to industry professionals, students, and their invited guests.
